While I'm Loving Thee

You said if I would "draw near" You O Father
You would draw near to me:
So, may I reach Your Heart this morning
While I'm loving Thee.

How can I help but love You O Father
For You have looked beyond
all of my faults & all my failures,
You see what I'll become.

How sweet and how kind You do remain
no matter what e're I be:
So, how can I help but lose myself,
while I'm loving Thee?!!

While I'm loving Thee O Father,
I'm thinking of all the times
It seems I should be to You, a bother
But it never enters Your Mind.

I am about to go out to the battle this morning;
but while I am on the front line:
I will not fear nor faint, or grow weary,
For the fight is Your's, not mine.

As I snuggle up closely to Thy Chest
I am reminded of Thy love for me:
Thank You for holding me close this morning,
While I'm loving Thee!

I so agree with your philosophy here, Dawn! I believe nothing comes to us as a problem without God's knowledge! He is our ever-present help in our troubles, and we have but to acknowledge that truth to get the help needed.

Thank you for posting! Your poems are so inspiring and uplifting.

Ah Dear D.D.,

How I love this!!! You also have been talking with and reaching out in love to our father, and giving Him love in return. What a blessing you always are to me. Yes, the fight is His, that is so wondrous a thing to me. I need not battle, I need not fight, for He has already won it for both me and thee. What a wonderful loving Father He is.

When I talked with your sis. Jeanetters this morning, she told me to let you know she is praying for you, and she loves and misses you, too.

Hi Peggy, your cute little bouncy guys are sure cute. Laughing Laughing Smile They make me giggle. Thank you and GOD bless you for stopping by, reading this and taking the time to comment so kindly. There was a real tenderness from the Lord this morning, as I pray it is felt in each one who reads this, from Him to you. -Dawn

Dear Mama J, thank you so much for liking this and letting me know the Lord used it to bless your king sized heart!!! You know what? I was thinking about and missing Jeanetters this morning, wishing I had the free time to just talk to her, but I couldn't so I prayed for her and her family. I even imagined myself asking all about her, her schooling, Brian's knees, his job, James, Christine, & Matthew. I miss you all, but will get to visit as soon as I can.
I love you all bunches & oodles!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -D.D.

Thank you, can't believe I'm still up Mama Birdie, but a man just left who has been with us all evening b/c he lost his wife of 42 yrs. of marriage just 1-1/2 months ago and needed to talk. He could talk the ears off a billy goat. Smile Bless his heart. I can't even imagine what he's going through, but just want to be here to listen. We cooked and he brought a peach cobbler made from peaches out of his own peach orchard. Yummmy for the tummy.
Goodnight my sweet Mama of my heart. -D.D.
