[  Mood: Amused ]

When I woke up this morning I didn't have squat to post on this blog, though while I was enjoying performing my morning chores, I did had a few epiphanies:

What transpired while cleaning the stove and, at the same time, complaining about how the resident chef forgot to clean it after cooking last night:

I'm really not a “control freak” as those who shall remain nameless, except for the person I call husband, have been suggesting for way too many years!

Regardless of where it lurks, real dirt bothers me. So, it makes sense to me that if I always clean up what has accumulated overnight, including dust, in the long run I will gain the free time I crave.

I'm not clueless to the fact that some (IMHO a humongous amount) people do not appreciate clutter. You may think of clutter as disorder, though I tend to not obsess about either. So; I'm thinkin' clutter can be restored, dependent, of course, on how disorderly or cluttered our stuff becomes.

I experienced another breakthrough while reading the morning paper, watching CNN at the same time, and then checking the online news. (Don't even bother, I know what you're thinking!)

What? I like keeping up with what's going on around me and in the world so, when something is amiss, I'm rarely surprised.

The thought-up and absurd idea of political thinking screws up the world. So, it has occurred to me that by applying my dirt theory to both politics and news it might result in a real breakthrough, thereby benefiting mankind. I could say “fat chance!”, but I won't because I refuse to lose faith.

Rehashing **dirt:

When it comes to cleaning, some of my friends and siblings insist I inherited a freak gene. Whatever!

I used to wonder why some people bust their buns, cleaning like fools, when they have company coming?

Again, dear readers, my dirt and clutter theory applies!

(**My precious grandma's exact words,“If people are comin' to see what my house looks like, then they're not my friends, and obviously not relatives, and aren't welcome. So there!”)

To Tony Hayward – the guy with no ethics who used to work at BP:

Be careful what you wish for. Enough said and that's just my opinion.

That's all. I will communicate with you at a later date!

Peace ~ Cindy ~

Footnote: The resident chef was standing in the kitchen this morning, and alas, all my complaining was lost when I realized he had failed to put his ears in this morning, when the above mentioned cleaning remark occurred! I hate it when that happens!
