well as you know my b-day came around, well my friend jesse got me this amazing CD, but like most people I had no clue who this artist was, so I listen to the album, and was blown away, after a little research I found this album was his frist, suprised me because it was as deep as someone who was in the bissness a very long time... It's Called Alens & Rainbows. so on the my review...1.Liberation Day 10/10, great song, about feeling free, having fun and simpley living life, form my reseach on the album this is the 2nd single off of it, fun track, really ejoyed it.
2.Aliens & Rainbows 10/10. another amzing song, it has a werid title, but make total sense, it's about feeling diffrent from the rest of the world, sounds kind elton John like here.
3.Something About You 8/10 this song was good, but not the best it's kinda a filler, but a good filler... I like it but wasn't blown away with it, but the poem part is amazing...
4.Hollywood's Not America 10/10, aperntly this song was on american idol, last year, but I didn't remember hearing it, I love this song again it reminds me a little of Elton John's song "Candel in The Wind" as this has refences to a Hollywood Girl, as Candel in the wind had to Marlin Moonroe
5.Everybody Bleeds The Same 8/10 good song, good message, but anoteher filler, the chours sticks with you but it's certnily not the best song here. good though
6.Rush 10/10 this should be the next single, it's amazing and deep, one of the best love songs I ever heard, It kinda compears someone who is on drugs to someone who is in-love, but instead of a bad werid song it's amazing and inchanting at the same time.
7.My Beautiful Life 10/10 this is more of a peom put to music, as most of it is spoken, I love the theme of this song, as he talks about what bugs him but then turns around and makes it a happy song.... great song/ peom
8.Soul Rock 10/10 at frist I didn't much care for this song, but now I like it alot, once again got a very elton John type of feel to it. with also a bluesy type of feel in it as feel great song.. about telling someone they love them so don't leave, that untimetly there there soulmate.b
9.Blame Blame Blame 2/10 this song sucks, skip it, it's about having sex with someone then that person, Blames you for it, I think it's just really dumb song and Doesn't fit the rest of this masterpices as I would inpect this to be sang by someone with less talnat.
10.Dear God 10/10 love this song, it's kinda asking God for help, but in a sense also qestiong weather or not he excites, but comes off very well in his journey of qestions, I love this song because I've been there, so I can relate to the words... ps. ferras has amazing voice and this song shows it.
11.Don't Give Up 2/10 I don't like this song much, it's a skip, I find it boring and plain
12.Take My Lips 10/10 if rush is not the next singel, then this sure as hell better be. it's one of the most amazing songs on this album, about bearly knowing someone but falling in love with them, kinda a cheesy thought but he pulls this song off with such deep emotional connection and his voice is like wow. on here. I love this track. as Good as Rush. those two are my fav.s
overall I Give this album a A-, it's amazing and Well put together, with a few setbacks, Don't Give Up. and "Blame, Blame, Blame," but over all a Nice Listen. almost feels like a Older more worked artist, instead of a new comer. but wow he is great. vocals, pianio, and lyrics [/b]
