Thirteen Reasons Why
By L. E. Nelson Jr.
By Jay Asher. This is a first novel by a very promising author. The premise is really simple but lends itself to a page turner. I read it in two sittings. About 280 pages and flows very well. I recommend it, especially for young readers. The story is about a girl who has committed suicide and leaves 7 audio cassettes behind that pass along to the thirteen people who lead to her giving up hope.
Unsettling, though entertaining none the less.
